Welcome to the 2nd edition of the Pros
monthly newsletter!
With the Pros Thanksgiving tournament just around the corner everyone at
the club is busy preparing for what should be an exciting event.
In this months newsletter, amongst other things, we take a look back at
other tournaments Pros teams have played in recently.

Thanks to the Pros Soccer Club for helping to Support
Our Troops!

Thanks to the tremendous support and
donations from our Pros Soccer families, we have received enough
donations to "adopt" a unit of 50 soldiers in Iraq for the
holidays!
Each soldier will get a patriotic stocking filled with goodies including
toiletries, snacks and other treats. The extras will be shared among the
unit.
The idea to adopt the troop developed when Nicole Larsen (pictured),
daughter of Larry & Jolette, sister to Megan '90, Kaitlyn '91 and
Connor, was recently sent to Iraq. For many of these young men and women,
this would be their first holiday away from their home and family. We
wanted to let these soldiers know that we honor their service and that
they are in our thoughts and prayers.
Thanks to all of you who donated letters and supplies. You will help to
make this holiday more joyous for many soldiers!

Pros Developmental Fall Season Comes to an End
|

|
|
The first season of the Pros
Developmental Program has come to an end. We had 76 players finish up our
season. The season concluded with some great games and then a breakfast
buffet at the field where the players were presented with their pictures
and trophies. In appreciation for their commitment to the teams, coaches
were given picture plaques as well.
Many thanks once again to all of those who made this program a success.
Our Winter Season registration is going
on now. Registration ends on Nov 11th. More information can be found on
the website!

Europe
Trip
The 92 Boys White team is traveling to Europe next summer. We will depart
from Phoenix on or about May 27th. We have room for several more male
players born between Jan 91 - Dec 92. Please contact Mary Baker at

Pros Thanksgiving
Tournament
The club is looking to borrow lots of pop-up tents for all the tournament
venues to save the cost of renting them. The tournament did this last
year and saved over $2,000.! We would appreciate your help again this year.

89 Pros Holiday
Banquet
Marcelo Balboa will give the keynote address at the final annual 89 Pros
Holiday Banquet December 10, 2006 at University Club at Arizona State
University at 6:30pm. If you are interested in joining us for dinner and
